Animal Welfare of Culebra (AWC) is seeking a traveler SJU to BOS on any airline to escort a small pup to his new family. Whitey (aka Ziggy) will travel in a soft-sided carrier under the seat. AWC will make his airline reservation, pay his fee, & provide all travel documents. His adoptive family will pick him up at Logan airport in BOS.
As the pup’s adoption is confirmed, we’d like to have him get to his new family asap. Please contact us if you can help.
Whitey is approx 3.5 mos. He was found left at the dump & came running over, wagging his tail to a kind soul working there ready to be friends.

While I cannot help with Whitey, I’d like to advise you that we’ll be flying from SJU to BDL (Hartford, CT) on Jan 9 via Jet Blue.
If you have a doggie that needs to be escorted on that date, we’d be happy to help.
Our son will also be traveling, on another airline, around New Year’s and is also willing to help.

Perhaps we can help escort Whitey. We will be visiting Vieques and flying out of PR on the 16th of Feb and landing in Boston. It’s a long time from now but we would be willing to help out, even if he has to go into cargo if he is too big for “under the seat” arrangements. He is sooo cute, might be hard to give him up!
We have 2 dogs we adopted from Vieques 6 years ago and we love them…best dogs. Our one dog keeps the coyotes out of the yard and we haven’t lost a chicken yet! Great little hunter and defender of the homeland!

We would be willing to help transport Whitey if there is still a need. I live in the Boston area but will be flying from San Juan to JFK on Feb. 8 and driving to Putnam Valley, NY. The new owners could either pick him up at JFK, although we are getting in 9:45pm or they could pick him up in Putnam Valley the next day or so. I will not be driving to Boston until Feb. 14. Let us know if we can be of help….if there is still a need….Karen
