“Murphy,” a Culebra sato (mixed breed) finds a home in Boston, MA with Cara and Sam!
Little Murphy was recently hit by a car, but the incident likely saved his life as he then came to the attention of Animal Welfare of Culebra. Murphy was sent to the vet in Fajardo (by airplane) for x-rays, got neutered, dewormed, started on flea/tick meds, and then came back to Culebra where he was fostered until a great family; Cara and Sam and their other Culebra sato, Chopper, adopted him.
On the day Murphy was scheduled to fly to Boston, his day was long from the alarm going off at 5:15am to catch the 6:30am ferry to driving to San Juan and meeting his escort, Carelyn at the airport. His flight up to Boston even came complete with an hour’s time change.
His new family reports that Murphy and Chopper are “in love” and even “sharing rawhides” and having the best of times!
